When mounting use holders (sold separately), which strengthen the tube and fix it to panels of chipboard, MDF, solid wood through appropriate fasteners. If you want to give the railing a finished look you can put decorative caps at the ends. If your kitchen is not straight you will need to use appropriate corners and extensions.
